After talking to a number of our franchisor clients, I have heard concerns from them about the reduced number of enquiries over the last couple of months from certain websites.
This can be attributed to changes implemented recently by Google. Over the last 6 months Google has made a number of updates which has caused individual websites to change positions on an almost daily basis. This is affecting individual websites and anyone who has placed all of their listings on one website only.
The effect has been so major that some Franchisors have experience little to no enquiries over the last month from certain websites. This has caused a loss in confidence of the effect of internet marketing for some Franchisors to the point of some looking at other mediums like print media.
The future outlook is that Google is going to continue to implementing more changes over the coming months which can potentially affect all of the Business and Franchise for sale websites.
So the question is what is the best way to advertise your Franchises in the future?
