Business Brokers FAQ's

Business2Sell offers a wide variety of packages for selling businesses. Business brokers can choose anyone, depending on their requirements. For detailed information regarding these packages, please contact us at 1300 556 121. Our customer care executives will inform you about all the terms and conditions for listing businesses on our website.

Business Broker listings appear for a minimum of one month and can go up to a year, depending on the package you choose. To know more about the packages, please call us at 1300 556 121. 

 

Yes, added agents can access the account through a separate log-in. They have the right to add, modify and delete business listings. They can also view enquiries from prospective buyers. For more information regarding the separate log-in, please call us at 1300 556 121. 

The number of listings that can be added by a business broker depends on the package they choose. It ranges from 50 to 100, 200, 300 and 400. If you wish to add more than 400, you can customise the package after discussing the terms with our customer care executives. For more information, please call us at 1300 556 121.

 

Adding multiple agents to the same account is quite simple. Follow the steps mentioned below to add multiple agents to your accounts within 3 minutes.

 

  • Step 1: Log into your account by clicking on the ‘Login’ button on the Homepage as shown in the image below:

 

 

  • Step 2: The account login box will appear. Enter your account details to login to your Admin Panel!

 

  • Step 3: In the Admin Panel, click on “Agents” as shown in the image below and you will be redirected to your agent’s page.

 

 

  • Step 4: On the Agents Page, you can manage all your currently listed agents. You can edit their details or delete them from your profile. If you wish to add new Agents, click on the “Create New Agent” button on the top of the page as shown in the image below.

 

  • Step 5: Once you have clicked on the “Create New Agent” button, you will be redirected to the form where you can add your Agent’s details and add new agents to your company profile.

 

 

Yes, you can use a bulk uploader for multiple listings. Business2Sell accepts the following Bulk Uploader for large number of listings.

  • Step1: In your Admin Panel, click on “View Advert”.

 

 

  • Step 2: In your Listings Panel, on the right side, you can view, edit or delete your listings.

Business2Sell is not a Business Broker Agent, so legally we are unable to advice you on how to sell your business. For specific advice, we highly recommend consulting a certified business broker.

Private Sellers can add one listing per package.

For Private Sellers, the listing appears on the site until the business is sold or for the period defined in the selected package.

Private Sellers must have a confidentially agreement ready for the potential buyers because they will need more information about the business. Here you can download two different types of sample Confidentiality Agreements to prepare your document.

General FAQ's

If your location is not mentioned in our town/city list, please send us an email at support@business2sell.com.au or call us at 1300 556 121 to provide us with your requested town or city name. We will be happy to add it to our list. We will confirm when it is added, and you can select it from the list.

You may have trouble uploading your images if they are too big in size or your internet connection is too slow to allow the uploading. Follow these steps to upload your images easily.

 

  • Resize the images to 600x600 (max width x max height) so that they get uploaded quickly. If you do not have the software to resize the image/s, you can go to https://pixlr.com/x/
  • If there is a problem with the internet connection, try uploading images one at a time, instead of uploading four-five in one go.
  • If you are still facing a problem, you can send an email to support@business2sell.com.au with the image/s attached and we will upload them for you.

If your business category is not in the list, please email us at support@business2sell.com.au or contact us at 1300 556 121. We will happily add the category to the list.

While creating your advert, you must make sure that the city name is added in the listing, and you have chosen the correct categories that are relevant to the business you are selling. If this information is incorrect or missing, it becomes difficult to find the advert. Also, while searching, the inputs must be related to the advert, such as the city, category and the price range. You must ensure that you have checked all pages because there are numerous listings with the same location and category.

To remove your advert from our site, you will need to log into your account with your username and password. Click on the “View Advert” tab and your adverts will appear. On the side of the advert, you will be able to select the “Delete Advert” option. If you are unable to do it, you can also email us at support@business2sell.com.au and we will delete it for you.

Once you have made the payment and registered your details with Business2Sell, you will be able to add your listing. As soon as you have entered the information about the business you wish to sell, click “Submit” and your advert will go live on our website straight away. If, however, you have selected one of those packages that have your advert viewable on other websites, it can take up to 24 hours for the advert to appear on the website.

Once registered, you may add your logo and start creating your advert. The Business2Sell team can also create an advert for you after the registration. Just email us the information at support@business2sell.com.au and we will do the rest!

Business2sell allows you to upload UNLIMITED images in your business listing. If you don’t have enough time to upload the images, you can send them to us with your username or email address at support@business2sell.com.au and we will upload them for you.

We only show the contact details that you want to appear on the site. Usually, the contact person’s name and phone number are provided in the listing. For business brokers, the name and number of the agent in charge of the listing is also displayed along with the details of the business broker.

Yes, you will get an email for all the enquiries. Potential buyers send their enquiries through the website. They send it to our system, and we forward these enquiries to you manually. This ensures that there is no loss of emails, phone calls and no spam. The brokers also receive the enquiry emails on their main email address along with the agent in charge of that listing.

If you have purchased the package which includes exposure on other websites, your advert will be visible on top nine ranking websites for business sale. To get the full list of sites, please contact us at 1300 556 121 or email us at support@business2sell.com.au.

Yes, all the enquiries go through our Manual Spam Check and then they are forwarded to you. We make sure that no spam passes through and there is no loss of emails from potential buyers. Business Brokers also receive enquiries on their email address along with the agent in charge of that listing.

To find your advert, you must ensure that the listing has the correct city/town name and you have listed your business under the category that is relevant to your business. If the business is added under an incorrect location or category, it becomes difficult to find it. Also, make sure when you are searching for the advert, your inputs are related to the advert, such as the city, category and price range. Do not forget to check all the pages as there are numerous listings under the same location and category.

Deleting your business advert is easy. Login to your account on Business2Sell. Once you are in the Admin Panel, click on View all Listings

 

 

Once you are in the Listings panel, you can edit and delete the listings from the right sidebar as shown in the image below.

 

 

 

 

 

If you are a business broker or a franchisor, you will have to add your basic company details for the listing, including your logo, business details etc. Once done, you can create your business listing, you will need listing description and the information of the person in charge of the listing.

 

It is recommended that you have the business description ready with you before you start creating the listing because the system automatically logs off an account that is idle for more than 20 mins. Franchisor FAQ's

Business2Sell provides the service of maintaining your account if you are unable to do so. We refresh your listings once a month, check whether your categories are correct or not, and add valued inputs to make sure you receive the best exposure and maximum enquiries. We can add your listings and edit them also. Just email your request to our team at helpdesk@business2sell.com.au

Business2Sell makes sure that all our clients are happy with our services. We take various steps to ensure that you receive the desired results. We refresh your listings once every month, which helps in bringing your listings on the front page to gain more exposure. Business2Sell has separate packages for franchisors that suit their requirements. The number of listings can range from 5 to 30 or even more depending on the need of the franchisor. For franchisors, the listing appears for a minimum of three months. After this, our packages are available on a month-to-month basis. If you have any other questions or wish to customise you package, please contact us at 1300 556 121. Remember that if you wish to cancel your account, we require 30 days written notice prior to cancellation.

Yes, you can add several adverts with the same content and different locations on the site effortlessly. For this, log into your account, click on “Add New Business” to create your advert. To post more adverts with the same content and different locations, you need to select “Copy" option on the right-hand side of your advert. This will make an exact copy of your advert. Then click on “Edit Advert” and change the location. This will save you from copying and pasting the content as well as uploading the images again and again. Please note that when you duplicate an advert, the duplicate listing will always appear on the top.

For franchisors, we offer different packages depending on their requirements providing highest exposure in the Australian Market. We publish your listings on up to 30 websites including the top-ranking websites for business and franchise for sale in Australia. We refresh your listings once every month to give you a better exposure by bringing the advert on the front page of all the websites. Registering as a seller on Business2Sell is a simple 3-minute process. Please follow the steps below for the same.

  •  On the Business2Sell Homepage, simply click on the “Selling Business” tab in the main menu. You will be redirected to the Selling Business page.

 

 

 

  • On the Selling Business page, simply select the package which you want to choose and then go to the bottom section and select “Register”.

 

 

  • Fill the form with your details. If you have any problems, then you can call us at 1300 556 121 and we will help you in setting up your account.

 

 

  • Once you have filled and submitted the form, you will be taken to the Payments page. After you have made the payment, your account will become immediately active, and you will be taken to the Admin Panel where you can start uploading your listing.

You can upload your business listings within 5 minutes on Business2Sell. Make sure that you have the business description ready for the advert because you will get logged off if the account is inactive for more than 20 minutes. To upload your business advert, follow these steps:

 

Please Note: To add a business listing, you must make the payment first while registering for the selected package. You will be provided with a receipt and only then you will be able to add a business listing to your account.

Go to the Business2Sell website Homepage and click on “Login” to access the Account Login section.

Have You Prepared Your Business or Franchise For Sale?

If you have chosen the Silver package, your listing will be live for 3 months. For Gold and Platinum packages, your listings will stay live for 6 months and 12 months respectively. Brokers Registration FAQ's

Please follow the steps given below to register as a broker on Business2Sell.

  • Step 1: Click on "Register" on the top right corner of the homepage and you will be redirected to the Seller Registration page.

 

 

  • Step 2: On the Seller Registration page, simply select the “Broker Registration” tab

 

 

  • Step 3: Fill the form and click on "Create Account"
  • Step 4: Here, you will see a payment option. Select a package, click on "Proceed".

  • Step 5: Enter your card details and click on "Pay Now".

  • Step 6: An invoice will be automatically generated after your payment is processed and you can start adding your business listings.

Franchise Registration FAQ's

Please follow the steps given below to register as a franchisor on Business2Sell.

  • Step 1: Click on the “Register” on the top right corner of the Homepage.
     

 

  • Step 2: On the Seller Registration page, simply select the “Franchise Registration” tab

 

  • Step 3: Fill the form and click on "Create Account".

 

  • Step 4: Once done, you will be redirected to the payment page. Simply select the desired package and click on “Proceed”.

  • Step 5: Enter your card details and click on “Pay Now”.

Buyer Login FAQ's

You can register as a business buyer in less than 3 minutes on Business2Sell. Just follow the steps given below and start managing your bookmarked business listings.

  • Step 1: On the Business2Sell Homepage, click on “Login” on the top right corner.

 

 

  • Step 2: In the dialog box, click on “Buyer Register” to get the buyer registration form.

 

 

Step 3: Fill your details and click on “Create Buyer Account”

 

  • Step 4: Once you have completed step 3, you will be redirected to your Admin Panel where you can view your saved listings.

Admin Forgot Password FAQ's

Forgot your password? Don’t worry. Follow the steps given below and retrieve your password in less than 2 minutes.

Click on “Lost Your Password?” on the login screen as shown in the image below.

 

  • You will be redirected to the “Forgot Password” page. In this page, enter your email address which you used while registering and click on the “Retrieve Password” button.

 

Once done, you will receive an email from Business2Sell with your login credentials.
