This is a family owned business which was established in 1996 by its owners.
What began as a very small operation with just 30 breeding rabbits is now Australia's premier producer of farmed rabbits. Today, they run 800 breeders, and produce around 600 rabbits for sale each week. The farm employs four full time staff and up to four casuals and the owners contributing very minimal hours.
Located in the picturesque Mid North Coast of New South Wales on 27 acres of pristine land including an open plan 4 bedroom residence including 3 car garage and a large alfresco entertaining area adjacent to the in ground pool for those hot summers days and nights. The kitchen is modern with gas appliances and dishwasher and the open plan lounge dining is very inviting.
The rabbits are housed in two huge temperature controlled fly and mosquito proof sheds to ensure the temperature range is maintained throughout the year.
What was once considered a cheap and cheerful protein has become a sought after gourmet meat. Most of the produce is sold to wholesalers in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, and specialty butchers in Sydney.
