For sale is a unique group of websites and premium domains generating passive income from people looking to move home in and around Brisbane.

The business for sale was founded in 2008 and includes 2 high ranking websites generating 1000+ visitors per month and 60-100 customer enquiries per month. The business currently sells these leads to another removalist company for $1000+⁄mth profit, however this could be picked up by an existing removalist or storage company looking for extra work to really boost the value of the existing web traffic and enquiries.

  • RemovalistsBrisbane.com website hasn't had any really SEO work done on it as the focus has always been on the Flex Removals site, there is a clear opportunity for optimisation here

Enquiry and CRM Database

  • Example lead enquiry received by email can be provided to interested parties, there's been ~900 email enquiries in the last 12 months that would be sent to the new owner
  • CRM database with ~1400 customers enquiries, including name, phone number, address details, moving dates, qty. of furniture etc. which would all be provided to new owner and included in sale

Phone Lines

  • Also included is the Flex Removals, [Phone Number Censored], this has been in service since 2008 and has been on all business cards, invoices, documentation etc.
  • The phone line currently diverts to voicemail, directing people to the website to complete an online enquiry, but this could easily be diverted to a mobile or other landline to turn the tap of phone calls back on
  • Back when I had the trucks running, phone calls would outnumber enquiry around 3 to 1, while a portion of these would have come through as enquiry when asked to by the voicemail, there would have also been a decent amount lost that could be recaptured, the reality is lots of people are going to want to talk to you before organising a move
  • I'd estimate there was an additional 1500-1600 phone enquiry potential at least

Revenue/Earnings Forecasts

  • At the current rate with the ~900 leads sold in the past 12 months, we've earned ~$13,500 +GST, selling the leads at $15+GST
  • The average move value of a 3BR house (the average request received) is 4-5hrs @$100-$130/hr = $400-$650, YLM is closing these leads at ~20% even though they charge premium prices @$150+/hr
  • Of the $100-$130/hr rate, you'd spend $50-$60/hr wages (above market rate for driver/offsider) and allow $10/hr as a fuel/ongoing maintenance estimate, leaving $40-$60/hr profit
  • The expected revenue return for you just executing the existing email leads ~900 and low estimate phone calls ~1500 at 20% would be 2400*.2 = 480 moves/yr or 9 moves/week with no additional marketing effort, ads etc. being run
  • 480*$500 as an average for the total moving price is $240,000/yr revenue and in my operation days the profit margin of the business was around 30% working off the wage/cost structures above, generating you ~70k profit
